Another local/national treasure that J&P Cycles® takes pride in
supporting is the National Motorcycle Museum. The museum is a non-profit
organization located in downtown Anamosa, IA (Just down the road from
J&P).
With
the help of J&P Cycles® and its employees, the museum now
encompasses some 12,000 square ft. of display space with more than 180
vintage bikes representing manufacturers from all over the world. There
are literally thousands of photographs, ads, posters and signs on display.
Since opening in May of 2001, the museum has welcomed over 40,000 visitors
from around the world!
Each year during the J&P
Cycles® Annual Open House, a silent auction is held to raise funds for the
museum. Motorcycle parts and accessories donated by J&P and its
visiting distributors will be auctioned off.
J&P Cycles®
also helps the museum throughout the year with marketing projects,
inserting flyers into mailings, and by employees helping out at the museum
for various events and projects.
