Great boots...but the size actually runs small. Had to give the first order to my wife, and order one size higher.

 popsjr Posted:

I like the rain boots because of the rubber soles, most others don't have them. They are tall enough to go over the calf of your leg and zip tight.Although the add said that sizes run large the ones I ordered did not fit my 7.5 boot, but they did fit my wife, so I ordered a size larger than before and they fit just fine. My wife is proud of her new rain boots. Floyd

Poor durability. The left zipper tab (plastic) pulled off the second time I used them and the right boot tore at the seam the third time. Living in Washington I still use them and they still work fairly well but I cannot see them lasting much longer. In my opinion, they are not worth the money spent. I will certainly not purchase this product again.

These are great rain boots; easy to get on and off and high enough that even those few little leaks that come up under your rain suit can't make it to your jeans! I don't know what those dang elastic stirrups under the boot are for, though?!?

 fhames Posted:

The rainboots arrived in time for a trip from Dallas to Brenham, Tx and back. The return trip was in the rain. My feet were kept completely dry but the leggings of the rainboots kept slipping down. This caused the foot part to wear loosly. This was not such a problem while I was riding but walking in them was a bit of an issue. The point of the purchase was to keepo my feet dry. This they did very well.

Good product, but the sizes run very small. A 8.5 Harley boot would barely fit in with a lit of struggle. Not something I am willing to do during a rain storm.

 popsjr Posted:

I have bought 2 pairs of these rain boots, one for me and one for my wife. I looked at other boots and found that others don't have rubber soles and are to shot up your leg. I have had these on in a very hard rain but my feet and legs under my rain suit stayed completely dry. If I ever need to replace them, it will be the same brand from J&P Cycles. Floyd

Fit perfectly! Was afraid they'd be too small after reading other reviews.

 AaronJ Posted:

These boots fit well. They are comfortable and are very easy to put on. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a pair of rain boots

Great Product

 jljags Posted:

These work great! They are easy to put on in a hurry and the rubber soles help a lot. Be sure to order a size bigger if you are inbetween 2 sizes as these DO RUN SMALL!

I recently bought these Over Boots and have tried them on. Fit OK but have not had any need to use them yet. They appear to be of good quality and I expect them to work fine for my purposes.

 dwainwheeler Posted:

Yep, buy one size larger. Otherwise, well constructed and easy to put on (the strap goes over the top).

 dwainwheeler Posted:

Haven't needed them yet but everyone's right about the fit--go one size larger.

 mikesantx Posted:

Order 2 sizes bigger run very small

 jersad Posted:

The boots appear to be satisfactory but they smell so bad I have to leave them on a shelf in my garage away from other riding gear. You could smell them before I opened the shipping carton. Is this normal?

 stubb5636 Posted:

we got to use them for the first time today and they were great.

 B Wo Posted:

Great covers at the right price. Make sure you ORDER 1 SIZE LARGER. Read that in other reviews and it paid off. Thye fit perfectly over my boots, and compress down well to fit in my pony express bag.

 rayccar Posted:

It's nice to be able to stay dry from my shoulders to my toes now. Wet soggy feet are just a nasty feeling. easy on and off are great.

 hpm1952 Posted:

Right price - very reasonable. Well sealed and loose enough at the top of the boot for someone with large calves. The straps are questionable though as they are pretty tight. I see this as a possible weak element of the boot - could rip where attached to the boot over time as the material weathers. Time will tell.

 kroe Posted:

Dry feet are a good thing, these covers work. Order one size larger than you think you need.

 drumnmad Posted:

Exactly what I ordered and shipping was fast!

 Snap2itu Posted:

Really Great, but order 1(one) size larger than normal size.

 WYATTEARP17 Posted:

I had to use these boots in CO. on my way to Sturgis they worked very well.

 Wally Maybery Posted:

They fit great over my boots and I have recommended them to others already. Nothing worse than wet or damp feet.

A little difficult to get on if you are already wet, but helped keep some rain out.

 dake1at Posted:

Rode in some very heavy rain and my boots were completely dry!

 RichO1 Posted:

Boot appears to fit good. Haven't had rain since receiving them. They do look and feel very comfortable.

 onecountry Posted:

Picked these up before I rode up for the Tomahawk Open House in Northern Wisc. and what a life(boot) saver. They take a little work to get on so the sides are up and your foot is in the bottom. I liked the zipper on the side which made it easier for that and the elastic, Velcro on the top kept it sealed on the top. I wear a size 9 Harley steel toe boot that fit inside the rubber soled lip that kept the shoe from sliding around inside.

 dsoper Posted:

Great rain boots - just what I wanted. Thanks !

Good Quailty, Good price

 savage_b Posted:

Great for the price. Dry while riding, the top could use some elastic to stay up better. Rode an Ultra during some pretty serious rain on the way to Daytona, feet were completely dry. Not good for walking, but great for riding in the rain.

 spmeiman Posted:

I tried several different pair of rain boots to keep me feet dry. Most are very difficult and time consuming to put on. But these are so easy to put on and they really work. Thanks J&P cycles for having the best of the best.

 Rebel1018 Posted:

These boots were the first pair I've found that actually fit the size of foot stated! Most others,IE, HD, and others, boots had to be 2 sizes larger in order to fit over my riding boots. They are easy to put on and take off and pack easily into a saddle bag!

 abalzarano Posted:

Worked well - kept feet dry

 hojo2 Posted:

we got to use the boots on a road trip they performed excellent no rain got in and were easy to walk in unlike other over shoes

 jebsoe Posted:

Haven't had to use them yet, thank god

 alysay Posted:

Worked fine on the last trip I took in the rain. Easy to get on and off. Just not real sure how long they will last. Pack nicely.

 Charlie1162 Posted:

keeps shoes dry

 RichO1 Posted:

Looked real nice, but wrong size. Returned them for proper size which was easy to do

 chaucernamesake Posted:

Perfect fit. Love these rain boots/covers.

 CesarElectraGlide Posted:

They fit well over my size 13 boots!!!

 fork Posted:

This rain gear does fit well and looks and feel great and I look forward to using them. They have a better traction surface than expected. But the pair that I got just do fit my size 12 boot. They did not run large as described in the description.

 RichardHunt Posted:

I purchased the Rivco Rain Boots for rain and cold protection, and although the boots did provide good protection, the quality and durability of the material was poor. The boot ripped up along the zipper the second time I put them on. I would not waste my money on these boots again.

 stubb5636 Posted:

we used them for the first timetoday and they were great.

 tank1980flh Posted:

looks great can't wait to ride in the rain!

 troutfishn Posted:

I am in WA so used these in the rain the day I got 'em. They do allow some water in eventually but were talking a few drops vs. the buckets my feet are usually exposed to. They work well. I think the completely enclosed bottoms are a plus with kepping water out as well as keeping my feet pretty dang warm (almost too warm!). So far I am fairly pleased with performance but can't speak to durability yet. They seem fairly sturdy, I ordered a size over so I wouldn't have to stress the material out and I think that was a good call.

 CaptainRon231 Posted:

Great for all the rain we seen to have, nice to be able to keep my lower legs and boots dry.

 awfinley Posted:

Great price and they didn't leak.

 troutfishn Posted:

In my earlier/previous review I could not speak to durability and now I can. The boots lasted me a little over a month before the right boot began to separate at the stiching where the elastic band, top material, and rubber sole came together. They still keep (most of) the rain out, they still retain (some) heat but I am not inpressed with the fact they are coming apart so quickly. Personally, I would not recommand these to anyone who is not willing to buy a pair for every winter/rainy season.

 harleytopfuel Posted:

I got 1 size bigger and it fits great and works great. No more wet feet.

 danbo61 Posted:

Very nice! fits well, rubber sole works great

 rwilfredsmith Posted:

Good fit, appears waterproof, also warm for colder riding. I was disappointed to find that the zip on one boot broke after a few uses. However the Velcro seal works OK without the zip.

 surburban Posted:

Cant wait to try it in the rain looks fits good

 cbayes Posted:

I have walked in water up to mid-calf (stalled the bike in a deep puddle) and my feet stayed dry!!! Only issue was the seam over the toe came unstitched. My GF sewed it back up and it was good as new. Just gave the old set to a friend and I'm getting another set for myself.

 dmasonnj Posted:

Boots worked great. Kept my feet and legs nice and dry.....great product.

 harleytopfuel Posted:

Got caught in a rain storm for 300 miles. It was nice to have dry feet.

 ts68* Posted:

zipper broke first time used

 palmgouge56 Posted:

Fit nicely over my size 12 boots and I still had the "feel" to shift nicely in a relatively heavy downpour we got caught in at freeway speeds. No leaks yet, but that was the only rain we encountered. These seem to be a nice low price item that pack nicely on a Road King (limited space).

 fiflsgt Posted:

Road through some of the most horrendous rain and the boots did not leak at all.

 terry74701 Posted:

Shipped on Monday received on Wednesday (Fast Shipping) haven't had to use them yet as there has been no rain, tried them on and they fit great rubber sole helps the boot keep its shape, a bit thinner material than expected, as stated in description they do run a bit small so I ordered 1 full size larger than shoe size and they fit great. will be ordering my girlfriend a pair in the future
