Works well on 5.00 x 16 tires.
Nice heavy duty construction, unfortunately not wide enough to handle tires much wider than a 130.
I have not gotten a chance to use it yet. A dog ran out from behind a car and made me crash the day before it arrived.
Took some work to get it to work on my 160 tire. It still did the job.
Worked out ok, but needs to be bigger, had to take it apart and assemble it to fit a stock 16" tire off a 98 Heritage. Again did the job and was still worth the money. read another review, the guy had problems with a 150 tire so anything bigger than a 150 I'ld shop around have a 180 on my other bike so I'm gonna need something bigger !!!!
Definitely helps with breaking the bead down on regular Harley rims and tires, but much bigger than 150/80-16s it take some work to get it in position over the tire. Beats the heck out of driving the truck over the tire edge, and other assorted ol fashion methods.
Looks like it'll do the job
I haven't used it yet, but you can tell by just looking at it that it will get the job done, if you have any doubts just pick it up and feel the weight of it, should do the job easily.
Used it straight away,no sweat tool, made this wrenches happy.thanks J&PCYCLE
These work slick!! Makes tire changing pretty much hassle free.
Have not used this yet, but it looks pretty easy.
This unit will not fit over the tires of a Yamaha Stratoliner, or GL1500 Honda Goldwing to break the beads. It does not go wide enough.
Works really well.
This product is "Cast Iron" and steel. It is tough. I was expecting a plastic tool, but not so. This tool gets top honors!
Worked great. I had to remove pivot pin, put bead breaker over tire and insert pivot pin in order to clear my 140 / 90 tire.
Needed to break a hard set bead on the rims.
very happy with tool make things a bit easier
Worked good but my stubborn tire could have used two to break bead
It is handy becouse of its size but at times it only brakes the beed on one side
The bead breaker and tire irons worked great.
Worked vey well for me!
Works like a charm. Beats a combination of car and bumper jack (aka "old school")...
