Customer Reviews for Kuryakyn Spun Blade Pointed Center Spinning Axle Caps

Overall Rating:
4/5 based on 25 ratings

nice looking but has plastic blades. sent them back because of that

3 by

was not happy with the plastic blades on them

I was a little dissapointed with these. When I first got them they worked great. About a week later not so much. They dont have bearings, only a nylon fricton barrier, which if you want to go down a dirt road with these.....they are done. They stop spinning after that.

Looked good but the blade is plastic. Had to mill out the inside to fit over the axle nut. Then the blades hit on the caliper so I had to notch them. After all of that the blades will hardly ever spin and if they do it is only for a moment and over 50mph so double the stated speed. Based off of the brand I had expected a much better product.

My son wanted these to go on my bike. they are heavy and look cool

5 by

Awesome looking product!

4 by

I love the tough look they add. They don't both ALWAYS spin when they should (over 25mph), maybe they'll loosen up with some use.

3 by

looks good does not spin very well

5 by

Looks good on bike. I put some powdered grafite on the inside and I've had luck with mine. Blades are plastic but other than that, I'm very satisfied.

5 by

VERY HIGH QUALITY! VERY EASY TO INSTALL AND THEY LOOK COOL TO BOOT!

5 by

Installed them today & love the look, heavy build, blades spin well, I did spray them with WD 40 before installing

5 by

they dont include the small allen wrench for the set screws! & the end cap requires a second size allen wrench..these 2 small allen wrenches should be included with product..other than that, nice chrome.

3 by

Will not fit hd trike axle, the dim. is to small.

2 by

not happy with quality / plastic / blades spin uneven or not at all

5 by

awesome

2 by

Blades are plastic. Expected them to the same material as the rest of the axle cap.

5 by

real dress up part, makes my bike stand out from the crowd

5 by

Wild Road warrior look to front end and gets a lot of looks and Comments. Thanks, Not quite Right Dwight

Great deals!

5 by

the best add-on, I get compliments all the time

5 by

Look really great on the Trike front wheel

2 by

I received my bold covers and I was very disappointed that the spinners were plastic. I went ahead and put them on my bike and guess what???? Yep one of the plastic tips are broke off.....wth. Anyone know where I can order a replacement spinner? Anyone want to buy these....I will sell them real cheap.

3 by

They do not have bearings only a nylon friction bushing. Once the bushing wears out the spinner starts to wobble and makes a very loud rumbling sound and sends a nasty vibration up thru the handle bars I wish they would offer replacement bushing mine looked good and spun nice until the bushings wore out 12,000 miles.

5 by

These are great! They look and work fantastic!

4 by

After reading the reviews, some say they sprayed then with WD 40, worst thing to do. Get a bottle of graphite and put on when dry. Works great
