The staff at the Daytona J&P are the best. This item was purchased during Biketoberfest 2007. The part was selected by the Progressive Suspension Vendor and the J&P Parts Technician.
The item was mailed to my home. The item did not fit my 2006 Harley Davidson FXDI. I called after receiving the wrong part, I explained to the customer service representative what had happened and gave them the correct part number needed.
Very polite and helpfull. I discarded the original shipping container, so I paid to ship the part back. I was keep informed by email about the return and shipment of the new part. Received the correct part by mail in a timely manner. The only negative encountered with this purchase is paying to ship the wrong part back and paying for shipping again for the correct part. Overall every experience with J&P Cycles has been very positive.

Easy to install even for someone that is not a mechanic. I did it in the 3.5 hours that the Harley shop stated it would take. Saved $240 in labor and it looks great. I left the pre-load stiff since I'm 270lbs so it does ride a little rougher. My buddy has one that he left the pre-load softer on it rides almost like stock. Great product.

This kit was a piece of cake to install. However, I did have a problem when I stripped-out the lower bolt on one fork. After drilling and using an easy-out, all was well. Felt intimidated at first but turned out easy!

The product worked ok but the directions were hard to figure out. So much that I had to call your tech line and your tech had to call the manufacturer because he was confused also.
