Description

Goodridge Sniper Hose Collar

• Build your own Sniper range is the latest addition to our popular Hide-A-Line product range

• Featuring stainless steel fittings and PVC coated -2 microbore stainless braided hoses, Sniper products are easily assembled without any special tools and are perfect for routing through concealed areas

• 6 pack

• Cut sniper hose to correct length using cable cutters or a similar tool that will make a clean, straight cut

• Slightly flare the inner PTFE lining of the sniper hose using a mandrel or similar tool to insure the lining is circular and will accept the tapered tail of the sniper fitting

• Before sliding the collar onto the sniper hose, insert the tapered end of the sniper fitting into the sniper hose and rotate 3-4 turns into the hose to form a thread

• Rotate the sniper fitting anti-clockwise 3-4 turns and remove and strip back 11mm of the outer PVC coating of the sniper hose

• Slide the sniper collar over the exposed sniper hose, insuring the exposed sniper hose is fully seated into the sniper collar

• Fit the sniper fitting into the installed sniper collar, tightening each sniper fitting until proper clocking has been accomplished

• Do not loosen sniper fittings once the larger secondary thread is engaged with the sniper collar or hose will need to be trimmed by 1/4″ and Asterisk 3-7 repeated

• The distance from the shoulder of the sniper collar to the base of the installed sniper fitting should be 1-2mm
