J&P Part: 3000080
Fitment Note: Some Taller Spark Plugs May Not Fit
fits good on my old shovel. never know when you'll need an extra plug
Needs a water tight seals. And mounting angle had to be modified to fit my bike.
Reasonable quality for the price. Looks the part.
looks great on mamas 58 panhead.
Very good outer house chrome. The bad is that doesn't come with clamp, and the inner part (where the plugs are attached) are far worst than in the picture. Looks like salvage from a old dirt bike. Crap chrome, bent, clamp holes are rough, came directly from hell. The outer part (cover) save the rest, because the finish is try good. This is the reason why i didn't take the worst rating. Will buy another from other brand and save this cover as spare and throw the backplate in trash.
It looks nice out of the wrapper. But they don't tell you that because of the design you are limited to where you can mount it. If you try to mount it on a up and down tube it will sit at an angle.
Hi there, I used that chrome spark plug holder to cover the fuse box terminial on my soft tail chopper, made a few backyard mechanic adjustments and it works and looks great. have a great day
This looks fabulous mounted to my crash bars. It is a show piece and very funtional for spare spark plugs. I had to fabricate the part to mount it on. A 1-1/4 inch chrome bracket that you can purchase from J&P that is used for mounting road lights etc.
This is an OK product, but suffers from an awkward mounting angle, and a lack of mounting options. A better, more versatile system of mounting would make it much more useful.
The chromed spark plug holder bolts on any one inch tubing on the bike. I mounted the caddy on the left handle bar, parallel to the ground when the bike is locked and the wheel turned left. I haven't run into rain to determine whether it is wet-proof but there is not rubber seal/gasket to keep moisture out. It still appears to seal somewhat tight. The chrome is very nice. The caddy mounts at an angle, perhaps to accomodate some bikes and their angles, but I would have prefered a more "squared" appearance. Still, I will leave it mounted on my Volusia for asthetics.
