Customer Reviews

Doesn't seem as bright as I expected. Also, after installation, found that the electrical system light on the speedometer stayed on. JP tech support referred me to Kuryakyn. They advised me to disconnect the control module, reconnect without it, then connect the control module again. They said if that didn't work I should try installing the ballast that came with the unit. If that didn't work I should buy the second ballast for $49.95 and install that. Bottom line is that they didn't seem to know what the problem was and weren't too enthusiastic about discussing it. I would expect more. And I would expect a complete system that works out of the box for a standard Harley motorcycle.

Easy to follow instructions and all the parts needed for installation right in the box. Bright leds !!!

Total plug and play for taillight and both sets of turn singles even though I have changed out turns for bullet, Everything worked as stated. J&P how too video was the best.

Replaced same part that was installed by bike shop. This part was superior in every way; replaced old modules and tail light and works great.

This is my second Panacea taillight--I consider it the best product I have seen for visibility from the rear. My first one gave out after four years of hard use, and it had been cracked, so I don't fault its durability.

Easy installation and super bright.

Important Product Notes

Note: Flashing brake and amber arrow can be disabled with the flick of a switch on the control module.

Important Information About Panacea Taillights: All wiring for trailer lights must be spliced into the wiring harness ahead of the Panacea control module.

Note: If the rear of the motorcycle is equipped with any incandescent lights that were not original equipment, such lights must be spliced into the wiring harness ahead of the Panacea control module. Police Models are often equipped with additional lights not found on their civilian counterparts. Be aware that these lights must be rewired, removed, or converted to L.E.D. prior to installing a Panacea system.

Note: The Panacea Taillight System meets FMVSS #108 when operated in "DOT Mode". There is no provision in FMVSS #108 for flashing brake or amber arrows so those features are disabled when operated in "DOT Mode".

Note: Panacea Taillights can be used on 1997-2001 Dyna, 1996-2001 Fat Boy and FXST (except Deuce), 1999-2001 Sportster Models, but they must be used with stock turn signals. Panacea Turn Signals are not available for these applications.

Note: Panacea lighting or run-turn-brake controllers are not compatible with H-D accessory or other aftermarket modules. Remove all such modules before installing Panacea lighting or run-turn-brake modules. Load equalizers generate heat when in use so avoid using the turn signals for an extended period of time. never operate 4-way flashers unless you first remove the load equalizers.
