I love them, they didn't come with instructions but they were not to hard to figure out.. I have after market pipes which I had to remove to install. And I also have a crash bar or highway bar but these controls fit around my pipes and highway bar. I'm very happy with the end product

The build quality on these controls was excellent. The only thing that you need to use from your original mid controls is the shift lever. The only problem was that mounting instructions were not included so I has to try to figure out what went where but got it done. Look great and feel great.

As with anything, you get what you pay for. However, I do think directions should be available, which they are not. So, what should have taken 2 hours took 5 start to finish. Quality is good, and that's being nice. Welds are not ground and nicely finished. The manufacturer just chromed over a rough weld. Pretty ugly work. Brake side is easy to install. Shift side is a little more involved. Again, directions (or even a picture) would have been nice. These went on a 2000 sportster, so I can live with them. If I had to do it again, I would spend a little more on a different product. Lastly, don't bother calling for directions. the first tech told me "it's not that hard", the second tech told me "we're going green, so no direction are available".
