Works great with smoked lenses. Wicked good product and very bright as break/turn/running lights on my sporty.

Looks great behind my smoke gray taillight lens.

OK

I used this bulb on a smoked out taillight. It is hard to see the running light during day light hours, but brake light seems bright enough.

I notice the bulb more then the old amber one. Nice deep red. Your visibility to other drivers should improve. Bulbs are a little expensive. Common. It's a light bulb! I guess if the color and bulb lasts a long time it will be worth it.

Initially, I thought this would just be one of those items that looks cool, but doesn't really perform that well. I've been pleasantly surprised. This bulb throws out quite a bit of 'red' light. Not quite as much as a clear 1157 under a red lens, but pretty darn close. And, it looks cool under the smoked lenses.
