I ended up not needing this part so I returned it. The craftmanship was very good quality and I would have put it on my bike if I needed it. I would recommend it to others. It is as simple as they come, but it gets the job done.

Ok. I've had 3, and they seem to stick, after awhile, and not work. Don't want to turn.

This basic universal swith was easy to install and covered all my needs for my custom chopper project, as well as being delivered in a timely manner as always .

not a true 3way switch cant run lights off but works well for price

Does the job. Its small enough that it'll fit the engine mount bracket with the relocated coil (with a couple of spacers for the coil).

ok. the part is great as far as quality goes, but it is sold as a vintage part.. old bikes have the following ignition sequence. off, on, on/lights. this switch has a sequence of accessory, off, on.. meaning that off is in the middle, turn it one way, and you have partial on(i used it for ignition on) turn it the other way and you have both pole's on(i used it for ignition and lights on) this means if the bike is on, i have to turn the key really quick thru the off position to turn on the lights. i think this should be more clearly shown in the item description. (btw i have a 69 ironhead xlh)

Very high quality workmanship in this part.I was very impressed that it did not have any sharp edges on it.The two keys are bright and shiny.Every part I have bought from J&P Cycles has been of the best workmanship.I have not been disappointed with one thing. This is my second year doing business with them.
