Fair price, but was a product that I didn't need, but was talked into purchasing by a technician.
It was extremely easy to hook up and shipped extremely fast!
Works really good. 2 years later, I am very pleased.
Tried the cheaper model first and it didn't last. LEDs on this make charging questions foolproof. Bolted right up - 5 min. tops.

Best investment that I have made. This item eliminates the use of the old point type voltage regulators, has the LEDs to indicate whether it is charging or not, and looks very good on the bike. Highly reccomend this product to anyone that has a bike old enough to still have a generator. This thing is basically fool proof.
This is a nice alternative to stock regulators. The red & green charging status lights are a plus. The regulator does not come with instructions describing where each of the 3 wires connects to the harness or generator. J&P Cycles does provide this information on the website.
