Good fitament, easy to install on my '91 FXSCT, & is doing it's job.
Nice long wire to the breaker but it is aluminum and not copper. Really tight fit to mounting bolts on my 99 fatboy. Had to bend bolts in a tad and tap regulator on.

The regulator works well. I have a 1991 Heritage Softail, and the only reason I took one star off is that I had to dremel out one of the mounting holes to get it to fit over the two studs. It took an extra two minutes. Not a big deal.

It's what I needed and it works!
The installation was perfect! Notes: -If you have a long oil filter that cover the plugs to the stator you do not need to remove filter. Gently "roll" plug off towards the front of the bike. -The grounding slot for ground wire gets tapped with the current screw from the old regulator. -Following the wire back to the main breaker can be tricky. Take your time and replace all old zip ties and watch out for areas that will cause rubbing. Be careful replacing the the gas tank you'll want to double check connections at switch panel to make sure everything is plugged in correctly. I hope this helps.

Great product. Was worried a bit that the eye on the end of the breaker wire wasn't installed but once I began installing I understood why. You have to thread that wire through a series of small clips. Solved the low voltage problem.
Regulator has been on since early June and have not had a problem, unit seems good to me. Time will tell. J&P rocks great customer service and fast shipping.
