1976 Harley Davidson XLH1000. Sportster. This regulator fixed all my issues, which included; Not charging, and dead batteries overnight after a full charge. Fit right in place of the old mechanical regulator. Bolted to the original bolt. Only had to drill one small hole for the second bolt. Crimped the wires together and sealed them, polarized the generator (from charged battery) and went riding. I've put 500 miles on this part and I'm still extremely happy. Do not hesitate to buy this if you have any charging issues. I had also rebuilt my generator the week before and it didn't fix until I got the new regulator.
this is a quality regulator. maintains a 14.3 volt charge. i have bought a few of these and have not had a problem with any of them.
works. Doesn't look well.
i am giving you an a+ on this product.
Excellent product. It fixed all my problems. Works excellent!
Reasonably easy install in the stock position by drilling one hole and using a spare bolt and nut. Wiring was a breeze. Looks good and works good.
Best price, plug n play!
Bought to replace my 74 Sportster point type regulator. Worked like a charm. No more stuck points. No more over or undercharged battery.
