Daytona Twin Tec Fully Programmable Ignition

• An upgrade from the non-adjustable stock OEM unit

• Features advanced electronics set into a billet aluminum housing

• Four rotary switches are used to set the operating modes (such as single or dual fire), adjust the timing advance, and select the RPM limit

• Two diagnostic LEDs indicate the status and the state of the vacuum switch (VOES)

• The status LED is also used to indicate top dead center (TDC) for easy timing set-up\

• A special feature allows use of the tachometer wire for a link to a laptop PC

• While the customer does not require the PC link for any normal set-up or operation, it can be used to access additional features for precise dyno tuning (such as programming a custom advance curve and setting rear cylinder timing offset)

• Windows compatible software is freely available for download at the company website

• PC link cable sold separately 382-810

The ignition works great until it overheats, this is the second one I've installed along with moving my exhaust pipe. I hope it lasts longer this time!

Just a follow up - the first unit had a malfunction and I sent it to Daytona with a copy of my J&P invoice and they sent me a new upgraded unit within a week no questions asked. Great customer service.

I put one of these in my 96" S&S Evo and liked it so much, bought another for my 103" Shovel. I replaced Spyke units in both. With the optional interface cable, these units are fully programmable with a PC. You don't need a PC to run them as they have street and race curves built in and they are adjustable over 10 steps. It runs single or multi spark, and has a built in rev limiter. The pc allows you to adjust for kick start and how many revolutions to spin before firing as well as rear cylinder offset. And you can make a custom advance curve. You can also download the operating stats of the motor and at what heat it's running in the nosecone. Software is a free download. Great unit.
