Crane Cams Hi-4TC Ignition Module
• Switch-selectable, spark mode, generates up to nine sparks at idle and three sparks up to 6000 rpm• Reduces lean surge and plug fouling• True single-fire, each spark plug is fired independently, camshaft position sensor (CMP) is used to determine which cylinder to fire and the crankshaft position sensor (CKP) is used to establish ignition timing• Digitally set rev-limiter adjustable from 500 to 9000 rpm increments via two rotary switches• Sequence-type rev limiter equalizes cylinder firing at rev limit and reduces “popping and banging”• Two advance curves: performance advance curve for stock and modified engines; race curve for high-compression engines• Both curves include vacuum advance using manifold (MAP) sensor, advance slope of either curve can be adjusted in 10 steps via rotary switch to allow fine tuning• Rear cylinder timing offset from -5 to +4 via rotary switch• Operating voltage is 5-18 volts with reverse polarity protection• Requires the use of performance or OEM coils with less than 1.0 ohms primary resistance
