was packed well, fast shipping. returned it as unneeded. Return process went fine. Catalog still needs lots of work. fitment info`s frequently wrong, which is irritating.

failed after a year - they sent a replacement and it failed after a year so I went back to the Harley OEM starter and it works great
Customer service over the phone was an absolutely horrible experience. I was having problems with the starter. The only solutions offered would cost me significantly more money or who knows how many weeks. I had decided to stop doing business with your firm until a response to an email from customer service offered an acceptable solution. Please educate those who answer the phone for customer service. "Customer Service" is not supposed to mean "Customer Abuse".
It was easy to install and made my bike start like it should. Spins fast. Would recommend.
So far this starter is cranking my new S&S V96 over very well. The engine is not broken in yet and it pulls the starter down pretty slow sometimes, but no worse than the original 80 did when the bike was new with the OEM starter.
Bought this to replace the OEM starter on my 2000 Fatboy. Perfect fit works like a charm- strong. Also comes with a good warranty.
got starter for 90 FXSTC...assembly is "opposite handed" so chrome cover would not fit however starter works great
Great price - great product. Operates perfectly. Lots of torque, too. Turns 93CID high compression motor over no problem. Great all around starter.
The ALL BALLS (what a name)starter works very well, but has more mechanical noises than the Spyke starter it replaced. I damaged the Spyke starter because of an electrical short in the bike (not the starter) and got the ALL BALLS Starter because the price was more reasonable than a stock Harley starter. The main thing is that it has great torque and pulls my engine over without sounding like its working hard.
After another miserable failure on the part of UPS in delivering an empty box that should have contained a Harley starter. J&P Cycles replaced the starter and I recived it very quickly. The starter works great and performs as well as the previous starter and at half the price. Thanks and this loyal customer will remain loyal, but you might think about what Brown has done TO you as far as delivering products.
Although I'm not a person of many words and a firm believer in action speaks louder than words. I tip my hat to you folks. The customer service is outstanding and all of the products that I've recieved have met my full expectations. Only thing that I can say, on the negtive side; is the last package I recieved, could have been better packed. It was on the border line of falling apart. Keep up the good work.
