Worked great. It says 12' communication cable which to me means 12 foot but it is really a 12" (inch) cable. I thought it was really inches before I bought it by looking at the picture but I don't want somebody else who is expecting a 12 foot cable to be surprised.

Be aware. If your computer has USB ports this is not needed. I was under the impression that it was the other way around and the Thundermax had Serial port. Item was returned

Could never get the driver to work with windows 7, had to borrow a computer to link to bike.
