1975 fxe pipes dont fit in heads ,rear pipe blocks trans fill bolt have to take pipe off to trans fluid in

Fitment issue with my '80fxef to head..new pipes .028in over would not fit into head port. Too bad nice pipe

POOR fitment of the exhaust's mounting flange against the head. this is the 2nd or 3rd set of Dyno Power exhaust pipes i've tried and they've all had this problem to varying degrees. on this set, the gap btwn the flange and the head was about 3/16" at it's widest point (opposite side of the exhaust mouting bolt). i returned this set, frustrated. otherwise, the chrome is really nice and the pipe metal is reasonably hefty. the other set of Dyno Power exhaust pipes i kept (from years ago) are holding-up well, mechanically and cosmetically. it's a shame the mfgr doesn't adjust their welding jig to address this problem.

• Note: With any new exhaust, we recommend changes to carburetor jetting or use of an aftermarket fuel injection control module.

• There is no warranty on exhaust pipes and mufflers with regard to any discoloration. Blueing is caused by tuning characteristics, cam timing, carburetor jetting, overheating, etc. and is not caused by defective manufacturing. No refunds on exhaust pipes once motorcycle is started unless there’s a manufacturer’s defect.

• Flanges and retaining rings are not included with most aftermarket exhaust for 1984-2013 Evolution and Twin Cam models. Re-use your existing hardware, or purchase replacement hardware.
