Did not seem to make a difference either way.

 audrey05 Posted:

Best Power Cones on the market for an affordable price . A MUST for all EVO's running drag pipes, especially baggers with true duals. Replaces the lost back pressure without loosing the performance sound.

 big89sport Posted:

Works great and couldn't ask for more.

 bradford714 Posted:

Very easy install. Increased power and didn't lose any sound.

 csaff55 Posted:

I am very, very impressed with this addition to my set up. I have very short drag pipes I think they are called daisy cutters. This cones really improved my bottom end... the seat of the pants feel is like 10 h.p. and trq. Probably not but I am amazed at this simple improvement.

 lonlindsey Posted:

Order arrived quickly and in order. Helped a little on the bike that it was installed on.

 WisemanD31 Posted:

Worked Perfect For Providing Back Pressure On My 2006 Xl883 Custom Exhaust. J&P Delivers Once Again!! Always A pleasure

 MIKEZ38 Posted:

a world of differance in performance will tell everyone about them !!!!!!

 Lt AJ 911 Posted:

I have an '04 Electra glide upped to 95 cu with a SE203 cam and performance slip-ons. The bike runs great, but annoying popping from lack of back pressure and frequent stalls when backing off the throttle and pulling in the clutch. These cones almost completely eliminated the popping and stalling without noticeably changing the tone or volume of the exhaust. They seem to have reduced the engine vibration at highway speeds also.

 cigars777 Posted:

These power cones work very nice especially with drag pipes as they help with loss back pressure and they increase your bikes performance, So for $29.99 they are a steal"

 wvaraiza Posted:

So far so good.

 jspears Posted:

Ez install

 dbkluna Posted:

Look good, sound concept. Have not yet installed.

 effinch Posted:

Easy to install, I can feel the difference.

 IMCAmodRacer Posted:

Haven't installed them yet, but they look the part. I hope they improve low end power and stop some of the pops from my Straightshots.

Fits in as expected.

perfect addition to the drag pipes i orderd earlier ! m.k. manuel

Cheapest ones I found!

 aaronis50 Posted:

Tight fit but works well

 Rand Bradshaw Posted:

improved bottom end tourqe

 jrosa770 Posted:

They had made a believer out of me here. I replaced my screaming eagle 2 pipes a set of straight fishtails, I wanted sound and the old school look but noticed right away the loss of power and back pressure. Dropped a set of this and presto my throttle response is back and no sudden stalls due to back pressure loss. One thing I was not not expecting to quite the pipes due to that they are not baffles, so if you are looking to lower the sound on your straight pipes this is not the solution, they will restore power loss but will not reduce or affect the sound of your pipes. Although it reduces (not eliminate) deceleration sound. 2003 Softail Springer.

 Kwwebb Posted:

Removed some of these from 92 fxsts. Cured exhaust Leak. Good exhaust Restrictors Bike runs better. 2 1/4 longshots

 bdyal1972 Posted:

These work GREAT! Just enough back pressure to stop popping! Just enough back pressure to mellow the crack in the open 2" drags! Brought back a lot of low and mid range torque! Can't tell a diference at all on top end! Totally the best solution for open drags! Made my Vance and Hines side shots sound and perform better without baffles than they did with baffles! 5 big happy stars! :)

 willyrayk Posted:

Gimmicky. Well built but could use some finish work on sharp edges of inner cone. No big / noticeable improvement in HP or torque.

 gstewart406 Posted:

Great fit & shipping.

 catsmtrods Posted:

Installed these with Cycle Shack drags and noticed no loss of power and they sound great. No problems at all. 85 FXWG

 BigBear69 Posted:

Arrived in great condition and ahead of schedule

 meanster319 Posted:

The power cones are sweet!

 randyrogers Posted:

Could not use at this tiime. Need to extend exhaust bolts. Otherwise nice product.

 BubFXDS Posted:

Work like they should. Do quiet the pipes a bit, but that is a good thing with the drags I put on.

 jtocci Posted:

An absolute must if your pulling baffles out. Worked great on 94 80" EVO with V&H staggered shots. Bike sounds great and got most of the low end power back with these cones.

 twineagle01 Posted:

very well made and fit perfectly

 bigfinke Posted:

Packaged and shiped very well. They sound alot like baffels. They do help give some power back on open pipes. I think there worth it. I'll trade some sound for perfomance as long as there is a noticeable difference! And its still loud!!

 Thuuja Posted:

Very good quality and easy to install.

 11sportster Posted:

great part Posted:

Fitted nicely and a nice felt increase in bottom end torque, did unfortunately not reduce the backfire on deceleration as much as expected

 pieguy57 Posted:

just as described. added that little bit of zip to those straight pipes.

 elkymh Posted:

Excellent quality.

 custer1954 Posted:

Yes, I have noticed a difference in the performance and it also quieted my exhaust. I have been very pleased with all the items I have purchased from J&P Cycles.

 zigzak Posted:

Improved power ans sound

went in easy great buy

 Rodeohard Posted:

Good quality, fast service. I am in the military and stationed in Korea, never takes more thatn 7 days to get my order! Posted:

Fit is perfect, in head against seal.Excellent craftsmanship and very well finished. I installed on 2004 Harley Duece Stage 1, with COBRA 3in.slip on mufflers and didn't need any computer changes with the electric fuel injt. They work just like they say they do. Thanks J&P. Also service was great, shipping right on time FWD Yuma AZ

CONES Stainless Steel It don't get any BETTER than these !!!

 jrmjr1968 Posted:

Did make a difference in power, not much but a improvement. I own a 2012 883 iron with Rush slip-ons. still no major mods but getting there

 buster_lloyd Posted:

these are definently worth the money

 dancindave Posted:

Second time I have bought these. Work just like they are suppose to.

 speedyhog Posted:

They gave me the back pressure I needed, nice and simple.

 mee73novass Posted:

Easy to install, give some noticable power off the line with drag pipes. Slighty quites the exhast though

 migrain1 Posted:

High quality part. Seemed to eliminate popping and afterburn. Little pricy.

 bigrod21b Posted:

a must have when using short aftermarket pipes. use mine with santee shorty 1 3/4 L.A.F.'s

 scubadude0322 Posted:

works as advertised. I can feel the low end torque back in the throttle now. I have V&H staggered short shots on my 2007 harley sportster custom and I removed the baffles. I do not even have to have the Harley race tuner re tuned.

 KARNAC Posted:

WOW! Quick delivery, Thanks.

 smnowak Posted:

These worked great on my drag pipe equipped EVO. It idles nice, has good throttle response and still sounds like a monster truck! Just the way I like it.

 heritageryder Posted:

Good stuff just like advertisted ,good fit and works like it is supposed too.

 Iowaman Posted:

Really can tell the power difference and no more hesitation. Would really recomend this to others.

 ericfrey Posted:

Good stuff. No hassles.

 swamplizard Posted:

didn't even have to change my jet

 IVEverWicked Posted:

Good product, added power without the use of baffles.

 SPeterson212 Posted:

 kencarp Posted:

Eliminated the annoying popping on deceleration in my V&H Big Oval pipes. Recommended for any performance exhaust pipes!

 oregonkickstart Posted:

Definitely helps low end torque and changes the sound very little.

 hdhowe Posted:

Product does not come with clamps or ties to secure the wrap. Must buy seperate at a price of alomst $40. Smokes BAD for the first 50 miles, then fades to a dull grey color. Doesn't really eliminate or control any heat, just looks cool.

 bigghed Posted:

Easy install and work great!

 devildawg73 Posted:

If you're running straight pipes, you NEED these! Definite improvement in low-end torque and throttle response.

 BLSstinger Posted:

How my bike got its groove back... I Decided I wanted loud and proud however I ended up loud and slow with my new Samson ground pounders. I loved the tone and decible level of the pipes but hated that I was reving the crap out of the bike to get it to move. The best preformance upgrade for the money when using drag pipes! Off the line is better & it started to pull hard in third gear again. Best of all it still sounds the same. May have lost a little crisp-ness at idle but everyone knows it when you get on it.
