The pipes are killer on my putt but only one problem, the front pipe mounting to head is a bit off. I have to use more than one gasket (3) to stop most of the exhaust leak. Other than that, it's very loud and proud.
love these pipes, they got that jake brake sound like you get from a pan running straight pipe fish tales, just be warned if you are running a stock wide glide and 11 inch shocks on your FX you will need put two 1 inch 45* bends on the front pipe right underneath your kicker. or you aint gonna make a right turn, just take it muffler shop with a bender and mechanic that knows how to make straight bends. and find a muffler shop that has good bender not the crush type. in my opinion they look better with the bend
Shipping as great.Pipes look great.will be putting them on bike tomorrow.
love the look, crome and quality appear top notch.
Silverrider2012,Great looking, sounding pipes.First bend could be few degrees more, raise back of pipe maybe an inch or two, scraped bottom in right turn on my 83 Shovel.Instructions were for 07-09 Softail, easy inst.without instr.

Absolutely love the pipes. They look great on my 79 shovel and make her sound even better.
Absolutely love the pipes. They look great on my 79 shovel and make her sound even better. Have had several comments already as to the look of the new pipes. Great buy.
These pipes produced a angry growl and about a ten percent increse in power. Great, streamlined mounting assembly, also!
bracket needed a little trim at the frame holes over all they look great on my bike. i did put a old set of power cones in. sound good not as loud as i expected but you will be heard.
went together well. small amount of effort and trim at the mount bracket holes to my hardtail / softail fit frame. sound great. used power cones in the installation.
