The Big Shots look and sound great.I did recieve the wrong set of instructions. However I was able to get the right instructions on Vance & Hines web site.I didn't like the fact that once installed it would not be possible to remove the baffles at will, as you cannot get to the screw for the heat shield.I decided to install without them.Afterwards I did slide them back in and let my fishtail tips hold them in.So far that hasn't been a problem. The main thing is they eliminate that pesky cross over pipe and gets some of that extreme heat away from your right leg. They sound awsome with or without the baffles.

These are louder than I like. Bike runs good, good fuel economy, near 50 mpg.

I have V&H pipes on 3 bikes and they are all great. The fit and heat shields look great. Thes really cleaned up the look of my Street Glide, and got the heat off the back of my leg.

Nice smooth look! Great sound!

left side pipe runs a little tight to fuse box cover, O-2 sensor could be angled up a little more to allow more clearance of transmission cover.

I just put these on my 2011 Ultra Classic and I love them. Very sleek and quality you expect from V&H. I replaced the stock baffle with one from Big City Thunder (#2001) and the sound is incredibly awesome. I also tuned after with a Screaming Eagle Pro Race Tuner - just FYI.

Vance & Hines is never disappointing. This is a high-quality exhaust system that fits perfectly. All the brackets and mounting hardware were included and are better quality than stock.

Excellent instructions the pipes went on like a glove! And they did come with new special exhaust gaskets!

After the installation of these pipes, my 2012 Street Glide sounds like it should. I also bought some aftermarket baffles. I never installed the baffles because these Big Shots sound GREAT with the included baffles. The included hardware is very easy to install and the pipes are a PERFECT fit. They look and sound amazing. They provide a very clean look and a deep rumble without the "blat-blat" treble sound. I highly recommend these pipes to any Harley owner who doesn't want to spend $1k on a quieter exhaust.

great fit, about 6 hr job for pipes, air cleaner, trottle pak, fuel pak. take your it'll come great. no sliding out of the house at 5 a.m. w/ these pipes. loud and proud!

Words could not describe how sweet these sound on my 13 Road King. Installation took a while but, if you have some mechanic skills should be fairly easy. V&H is second to none. I would recommend getting the V&H Fuelpak.

Great service and communications from J&P. The pipes I purchased. Two words - freakin' awesome. Thank you.

This is the third exhaust system have tried. Vance & Hines is by far the best engineered of the three. Great sound. Easy installation. Beautiful design. A little expensive, but, you get what you pay for.

This exhaust was easy to install and sounds GREAT!

Awesome pipes!! Clean lines and perfect tone. No metallic "ping" sound. These pipes really add head turning looks and sound my `06 FLHTCI. Putting them on does require the help of another set of hands for the left side, at least on my bike it did. Bolts right up without any modding. A little liquid soap makes slipping them into the rubber bushing easier.

I took my time in researching which performance exhaust I would select for my 2005 Electra-Glide. Vance & Hines Big Shot Duals are the best in appearance, performance and looks. Installation was easy. The only minor problem I had was with the rear cylinder mounting bracket. It didn't fit over the starter so that the bolt holes lined up. I was able to correct this easily by grinding the inside radius of the mount bracket near the forward bolt hole with my Dremel tool. This solved the problem and the rest of the installation went without a hitch. My pipes look and sound great! The pipes and Screamin' Eagle air inlet increase throttle response, powerband and has made a much smoother torque range. Thanks J&P Cycles and Vance & Hines!

You want flat out head turning sound these pipes have the "ULTIMATE ROAR". Made a huge difference in breath ablillity of the engine. pretty easy to install, did it all by myself. Did have to file the back radius a bit on the front hole to ease in alignment of the pipe bracket for the rear cylinder. V&H has the best pipes in my opinion, thats why I have a set on both my bikes. All In All looks, quality and price can't be beat.

great fit easy install

These are simply the best pipes I have ever owned. Be sure to order replacement exhaust gaskets as old ones may be cracked or otherwise unusable for a second exhaust installation. The downside, the entire left pipe needs to be removed (or at least loosened) to remove the axle for rear wheel/tire/brake work. They are worth the additional effort in the long run.

Great exhaust system easy to install. I installed w/quiet baffles and they sound perfect. Not to loud and not to quiet!
RJGabriele Posted :
Awesome sound, great performance, even better price! Love what they have done for my 2000 RoadKing
lowcountrybiker Posted :
These pipes sound awesome! The hardest part for me was getting the old OEM exhaust off my 96 Electra Glide. BE SURE to remove the old exhaust gaskets which will look like part of the head if you don't look real close. Also make sure you purchase new gaskets.

Great sound , easy in stall no brainier couldn't be more happier this is coming from a straight pipe guy
martydawg Posted :
Sound great!!! Not to loud so I can hear the stereo but not girly quiet either. Sharp looking pipes but kind of skinny.

Everything went smooth with my new V&H exhaust. From ordereing, receiving and installation. Thanks J&P Cycle

real easy switch and now it sounds great
drichards275 Posted :
Sound great!!! Easy install producing true Harley sound. These pipes are loud but on the road very tolerable. I had to extend out my right floorboard to keep pipes from hitting which produce terrible squeak at low rpm but easily fixed by adding a few washers to the bolts to extend.
erikolson Posted :
I went from Supertrapp 2 into one. I have an eco with a can, intake, carb work, and now pipes. These sound great and not as loud as I feared. Performance is awesome with the whole combination and they look great! The rear pipe down the left side is really tight and the heat shield touches the fiberglass body panel. So I gave it a 4 because the fit is good, but not great.
misterbigcgreen Posted :
I put these on a 2003 road king classic and I absolutely love the look they gave. The tips look a little small on the bigger bike but still very happy. Very loud and sounds like a Harley now. Compared to other exhaust this is definitely my favorite sound and you can't go wrong with Vance and Hines.

Straight forward installation. Any easier and I would have had my wife do it. Great sound. Excellent value.
