I really Like the Python 3 Pipes I put on my softtail classic they give it a great sound and increased my performance. I would have to give them a 2 thumbs up.

 Bodyman35 Posted:

I like the sound of these slip-ons better than the Python 3 full system I have on my Wide Glide. Good instructions and needed parts, easy install.

 okiwetjet Posted:

This slip-on kit is fantastic. I was prepared for a compromise on the sound for the price, but the sound (and look) is absolutely awsome. Very happy with the cost compared to a complete exhaust system. Friends who spend close to $1000 for their complete systems now regetting their decisions. Easy installation, GREAT price, and that Harley sound- Hard to beat.. Posted:

pipes came in very fast.very easy to install after I got the first stock pipe off little louder then I expected but that bothers only the neighbors not me.had it rejetted like it says in the directions and it runs great worth every cent

 ebraunston Posted:

These slip-on mufflers are the best. The deep fierce tone they produce on my 883 sounds phenomenal. They also look much better than the stock mufflers. Python 3 is embedded on them so your friends won't have to ask you what kind of pipes they are. They are easy to install and remove. They utilize your present head pipes and heat shield. This is the best bang for your buck!!!!!!!!!!! Way to go Python!

 flyingwolf Posted:

Python slip-ons were bought for my son-in-laws first Harley. Loud pipes save lives. He put them on by himself with minimal coaching from me. He is a good kid, but mechanically, it is not him. Perform great. Usability-wise, if he can put them on right the first time, anyone can. Great job once again guys. If you could have seen his face when he fired her up! Thanks.

 rmccaslin56 Posted:

In less than 30 minutes I had the old pipes off the the Pythons on. Looks and (especially) sounds GREAT! I would recommend them to anyone who wants that big V-Twin sound on a Sportster.

 TKasper Posted:

Installed these Python3 slip-ons on my wife's '06 Sportster 1200C. Installation was a breeze. They look great but the most notable difference was the sound compared to the "way-too-quiet" stock muffs. They sound awesome. Deep rumble but not too loud and obnoxious. Took our first ride together last evening....she's a happy camper!!! I could actually hear her behind me over my loud pipes which I couldn't do before. Rating would probably be a 5 but it's too soon to judge how well the chrome holds up. I highly recommend these muffs for anyone who likes the staggered pipe look and doesn't want to pay twice the price for the same result(making it sound like a Harley!). Only regret: They're not available for my 05 Lowrider :(

One word "wow"---what a difference from the stock mufflers. I installed these on my 2006 xl883 sportster. Low deep rumble when bike is idling. But not way too loud when riding. 4-wheelers definitely know you're there next to them. Everyone that has heard them wants Python now for their bikes. I bought these without hearing them, but trusted the reviews on this website. Pick these up if you want that big harley V-Twin sound on a Sportster.

 lhmarengo Posted:

The deep rumble is outstanding. Everyone has something to say about how nice my sporter sounds. Best bang for the buck..(!(!

 sfmorgan Posted:

made my nightster sound like a monster! love them

 sfmorgan Posted:

sound great, sportster rumbles like a big bike

 gtribble Posted:

They fit perfectly!

 Heanous Posted:

Just finished putting the Pythons on my Sportster. WOW What a difference from the stock mufflers. Installation was very easy and the sound is awesome

 chuck56 Posted:

If you looking for that head turning sound you need to buy these exhaust. They sound great on my 1200 Sportster. And they look great too.

 rlchoff Posted:

Had them put on in about a hour and sounds great!

 irish634 Posted:

All I can say is WOW! I put these on my '06 XL883C and it's probably some of the best money I've ever spent on a cycle. The sound is incredible. Definitely worth the price. Great sound without the huge price. The hardest part about the whole installation was getting the stock mufflers off and even that was rather easy.

 fraserdl Posted:

Great product for the price. Sounds great on my Nightster..

 FacelessEvil Posted:

After I got my 07 883 I was happy then I purchaced the Phyton 3 slip-ons and I was stoked. Not the deepest sound more of a thumping, dragbike sound that not only turns heads but recieve alot of praise. Easy install and can't beat the price.

 BGAREAU81 Posted:

Easy to install and sounds great.

 petersen88 Posted:

Pipes are alot louder then expected.

 plenskofskim Posted:

Amazing pipes! Got mine today and installed them right away. After installation i started the bike up to hear the sound and it was A LOT louder than i expected. I was expecting a slight increase in sound, but WOW. I have an Iron 883 and i am VERY happy i bought these for it.

 seargentpepper0 Posted:

Loud! wow.. did not realize that these pipes would be so loud, 5 min on my bike with these things and I still cant get the smile off of my face! easy install, aggressive sound, and great looks!

 thirdeye3 Posted:

Love these pipes! Quick install, and they sound so darn good!!

 Pollock224 Posted:

Very loud. Never been mechanically talented but i figured out installation in couple hours. Worth every penny.

 bongojoel Posted:

I had these installed on my Sportster '48, along with an Arlen Ness air cleaner and an electronic EFI unit. The sound is both deep and aggressive. Loud when you tweek the throttle. Horsepower is increased and rev limit is increased to 7000rpm. The chrome is of a very good quality, and I am glad I did not waste my money on a pair of expensive brand name mufflers that cannot compete with these.

 coryfarrell Posted:

Great sound, no remap. People think I have a1200, instead of 883...

 Slim 50 Posted:

Really like the sound!!!

 Humbug19 Posted:

What an improvement on performance and sound. Exactly the sound I was looking for on my 2007 XL1200L. These pipes are highly recommended.......Best part of the install is not having to remap my ignition with these slip-ons. Be sure to order the gaskets for the crossover tube....

 jbpscoa Posted:

I just finished putting them on my 1200 Sportster. I was a little uneasy about re-using my crossover gaskets because I ripped them taking them out of the old mufflers, but they turned out to work okay. THESE MUFFLER ROCK! My bike went from a stock purring sound to a "I've got a set" sound. I highly recommend them!

 whitney455 Posted:

These mufflers made my sportster sound like a harley davidson now. If you have a sportster you need a set of these mufflers.

 McKenziemw Posted:

Wow! You can watch every youtube video of these python pipes but nothing can compare to the real thing. These babies are loud! Installation is a breeze, hardest part is getting off the stock mufflers, which will vary. My 883 sounds mean now, great service, great product!

 jgoguen Posted:

Product is awesome!!! Good shipping time!

 dsshoemake Posted:

I installed these on my 06 Sportster 883 Low and I really like the way the bike sounds now and it looks good too. This was my first muffler installation and it would have been nice to know that I might have needed some donut gaskets for the crossover tube. I was able to reuse mine so there was no problem, but I could see if someone had more miles on their bike it would be a good idea to have some handy.

 zjeudevine Posted:

Super easy install. Bike sounds awesome. Nice deep tone. Loud but not obnoxiously loud.

 bikerjulzzz Posted:

my bikes sounds awesome. now I feel like im riding a Harley

 mdsprague Posted:

I just got these mufflers on. Wow!! what a difference from the stock mufflers on my 1200 Low. Fired up my wife's Soft Tail Deuce with full V&H 2 into 1 pipes and the sound is comparable! Make sure to get the exhaust crossover gaskets before you start. Easy step by step instructions for removal of old mufflers and installation of these Python 3 pipes. The hardest part was getting my old pipes off. I rate these pipes a 10. Nice and loud, as they should be to save lives.

 mmatzen Posted:

Nice throaty sound, easy install, pipes look good!

 brshank92599 Posted:

I love this item....And look forward to many more purchases for J&P Cycles!!!!

 xkopper Posted:

These pipes are great. Completely changed my 07 1200 Low to a big bike. Sound good and make the bike look good. After you fight the stock mufflers off, be sure you have a pipe expander to get these to "slip" on the head pipes. They are tight !!

 poppa777 Posted:

sound and performance were superior.a bit of a pain to install but that was not the manufacturers fault, just getting my big mitts in tiny space between slip-ons.

 biggierat Posted:

i was convinced to get the pythons after readind the reviews. like most of you, i love them. this is the 2nd day riding after installation on my heritage and they sound great. on my first ride they sounded really loud. a strong rumble and increased performance. 5 star in my book.

 mcain80 Posted:

Sounds awesome!

 pop_i102 Posted:

Beautiful, sounds great, all this at an affordable price

 maryizene Posted:

Easy install, sound awesome!

 karlm Posted:

Awesome sound

 rayburch Posted:

Easy to install; incredible sound. Worked perfect!

 hipster2009 Posted:

Incredable sound and improved performance. A litle pricy but worth it. Posted:

Unbelievable sound! Not at all obnoxious sounding. Gives the classic Harley rumble without blowing out your ears! So easy to install, I thought I did it wrong.

 mauriceadams78 Posted:

FIVE STARS!!! Easy installation, and Bike sounds amazing!!! I was skeptical at first about slip ons, but these are worth every penny..even look fantastic.

 pmusler Posted:

Put them on my 2012 street bob and they sound great. The hardest part of the install was getting the stock ones off.

 dcool2 Posted:

These python slash cuts sound much better than I was expecting for the money. The factory pipes that came on my super glide made it sound like a volkswagon, now it sounds like a bad a** harley. I purchased them because they had good ratings, I can see and hear why now.

 flashyspider Posted:

Took less then 30 min to install. Had no issues. Pipes are loud. I like it!! They do sound kind of hollow though. Still a very big improvement over the stock pipes on a 2013 FXDB. I would reccomend these to friends.

 Houger Posted:

I like this rest of these folks put these on my Dyna an wow what a difference. The sound was awesome deep and throaty But not crazy loud enough so they can hear you. Changed to a high flow air cleaner and added a TTS mastertune. The performance is incredible. Highly recommend doing the whole package.

 Bikerscout Posted:

I received a set of these pipes as a Christmas present, and as far as getting motorcycle parts for Christmas goes, they are a winner! I had them installed on Christmas morning; took me about forty minutes, most of which was getting the old mufflers, particularly the front one, off. The Pythons went on as though they were a stock part; perfect fit! The chrome is beautiful and the welds are very neat and precise. The sound, however, exceeds the looks! These pipes have a nice rumble, and when cruising, they're loud, but not obnoxious. Under hard acceleration, however, these pipes are really loud! The sound, both at idle, cruising speeds, and under acceleration, is fantastic! A deep rumble at idle, and a purposeful growl as she cruises. Starting the engine is a treat every time. And while Vance and Hines pipes sound great, it's nice not to sound like everyone else. Performance improved slightly all around; these pipes are a nice compliment to the high flow air cleaner. While I did not need to do any jetting, I will be doing that this week in order to get the most out of them. I highly recommend this product!
