J&P Part: 5000017
I always thought J&P was mostly for the Harley guys until I found a set of mirrors I just had to have for my KLR. I worried about drilling and tapping for a metric application. I finally broke down and called with what I thought was a stupid question "Do the mirrors come in metric?" I was given the part number for the "Metric Bolt Kit For Mirrors: 5000017" and presto, KLR mirrors! If J&P don't have it, you probably don't need it. Alec Gentry
The did what they needed to do. Only thing I didn't like about them was that they used a blue compound to help the mirrors bite in to the adapters. I'm guessing it was supposed to work like a nyloc nut but as I was having to adjust the mirrors the compound was breaking down and falling out the bottom. I just cleaned it out with my tap and die set and put some loc tite red in there. Problem solved.
JP rep said I would need these with the oval spear mirrors I purchased but I did not.
Nice mirror, heavy duty metal but the one side allen screw is too small to really hold the mirror tight. They need to make a larger bolt hole and use a heavy duty allen screw to make it more secure. Looks good though.
the kit worked perfectly
Works great. Only buy one package. You get 3 mirror mounts per package.
Good quality, but I didn't need these.my.mirror came with its own.so I ordered it wrong but they are great for quality N the online experience was wonderful.easy to shop and pay.
Fit like it should.
Worked perfect for my Triumph Bonnie
Great fit easy to use..
Works as stated, good item.
This item made it very easy to install the mirrors.
made install of my mirrors a breeze.
Fit great! Easy to install.
Good fit and value for the price. No problems fitting the new mirrors with these adapters. Well worth the cost.
They work and you must use them.
Bought just incase but not needed.
will order here again!
Does the job.
One kit is enough for 2 mirrors.
Made it simple to install the new mirrors
It is what it is, worked great.
nice finnished look
worked perfect on my 2012 Victory CC
This kit included everything I needed to complete the installation of my new chrome hand bone mirror set. Total installation time was about 15 minutes.

Chrome quality poor on locking nuts!
What can I say......required part.
there bolts, not much to say, they worked as expected.
Not of much use, we ended up modifying the controls to accept the mirrors.
It works and you need them for a metric bike. So spend the 5 dollars and make the right choice now.
Needed to replace standard mirrors on a metric bike.
excellent product - there are 3 bolts here so no need to order 2 kits for 1 set of mirrors. This was exactly what I needed to install the mirrors on my 1300 Interstate.

needed meteric bolt kit these made the job very simple
Came in handy for the mirrors I purchased.
VERY NICE AND EASY TO INSTALL
Worked well easy install.
Worked perfectly to adapt the mirrors to my Honda VT750C
they worked great in place of the old mirrors but the new mirror thread was to small ,i bought valve stem spikes and screwed them on top of the bolts and used the clamps for the mirrors
They looked nice but were not required for my 05 C90
They did what there suppose to do. so I'm a happy camper, would buy again
These are truly the best metric adaptors out there. They fit the best, and you hardly notice they are there. The secret is in using permanent loc-tite on the part that screws up into the mirror stem. Use that and wrench it up in there good and snug (not too tight as to break anything now), and then wait until the next day to mount on your bike. They will hold solid and look great.
