Fast Shipping, great prices
nice chrome finish
They were not made right, when you put them together the bolts would not line up with the holes
good product good fit
Great buy! Great look and I saved in the process!!
Worked very well. It's fine.
They work but next time buy H-D, save the pain.
Fit is almost as good as OEM. Installed with the HD chrome switch caps. The run/off switch on the right control sticks.
Awesome. Put these on my 02 Lowrider and my fiances 00 Sportster. Great fit, cost alot less than hd brand.
I bought these knowing that I would have to make modifications after reading the reviews. I have a 2007 FLSTF Fat Boy. But at less than half the price from HD, I felt it was worth it. I had to make the hole for the dirctional cable larger on the clutch side and had to drill a hole for the cable on the throttle side. I used the old grommets as described. I also had to make a hole for the Neutral Safety Switch behind the clutch lever. I used my old housings as a template and eye balled it. The throttle thumb screw looks nice but is useless for a thumb so I used my old one. Other than that, it took longer to splice the directional wires than to install the kit. The whole package and my new HD knurled chrome grips look great! Now for the clutch bracket and master cylinder kit in a few weeks!
Love the part looks good on the bike, the price is awesome. The harley shop want 130.00 for both of them JP Cycles spanked them on the price Keep it up JP Cycles.
the chrome switch covers for my HD Sportster 1200C were fine except there was no hole on the left side for the button to stick through for the starter switch. You could also include the various clips required when replacing these covers (ie: throttle cable).
This touch of chrome was a perfect addition to my XL1200C and basically was a match to the OEM parts. My only recommendation to the manufacturer is that the throttle side unit be shipped with the throttle adjuster screw already assembled. It was a pain getting the tine c-clip into place.
Great looking piece, but not a perfect fit. I originaly purchaced this part for my 2004 Sportster but, before I could install it my wife and I decided to buy a bigger bike. We ended up purchasing a 2007 FLSTN which the part should fit, and indeed it did, it just required a little work first. The 2007 models have a switch on the back side of the clutch handle that stops you from starting the bike while in gear without pulling the clutch, nice feature. The only problem is that these housings do not ( yet ) have the hole drilled for this switch, this is not a big deal, as it's just one hole. Just be aware that you may have to drill it. I also had to file off a little of the tab on the brake side so it would fit to the brake handle, again not a big deal. If you are installing this on an earlier year I don't think this will be an issue, and at 1/3 of the price of a "factory" piece it is well worth the few minutes to drill a hole if you do have a 2007. The chrome finish is great and once installed on my
Quality is excellent, all hardware and components fit as they should. Only fault I could find is that it should be noted and mentioned that on the 2007 Fat Boy, because of the internal wiring of the 1-1/4" bars, there is no hole in the lower half of the housing for the turn signal cable. But with the correct drill bit and some eye-balling the housing can be modified to work. Just be sure to use the original grommet so the wires don't rub on the housing.
I think these look great for the price, especially when compared to ones found elsewhere. I got them on and they look great. The only problem I've had so far is that the supplied bolts broke immediately after intalling the housings. Fortunately the OEM bolts are a perfect match and served their purpose until I replaced them with some chrome bolts. Great bang for the buck item!!
