Wonderful !!! Easy install. great price
I am reluctant to give this a better rating because of the fact that the wiring supplied is so short. They only give about 16 inches of wire. Aside from that, everything worked great. I used it nonstop for hours a day on my trip charging my phone or Blutooth.
Took up to much space on the handle bars.
It was easy to put on . Got them with in 5 days from order.
WORKS GREAT, EASY TO INSTALL. NOW MY MP-3 AND OTHER DEVICES WILL STAY CHARGED
Great lighter, very easy to install and it does not take up very much room. I would have been nice if the wires had been a little bit longer but for the price its a steal.
wasted money, don't get unless you just can't f igure out another way
wnet right on my Honda VTX 1800. Great for smokers.
HD - in this case heavy duty. Beefy and good looking. Use it to plug in the battery maintainer.
High quality, heavy weight with nice finish
the plastic holder broke the first time i rode
the plastic hinged cover broke off the first time i used it ,right out of the box.
wires are to short
Took about 1 1/2 hours to install. Had to make a wiring harness to extend the 6 inches that came with the lighter. Works great.
So far so good. Installed within 45mins on my 2000FXDWG, needs rubber boot over wires, only provides about 10" leads, one fuseable. Want to be able to charge my phone on road trips, I think it will do just fine.
A good product at a good price. A little tight on 1" bars but manageable. Comes in handy for smokers and GPS users. I highly recommend it.
Works great but would not fit on any bar on my bike. had to fab a mount for it under the seat on the left side putting it there hides the ugly part of it and looking at the bike you can't see its even there.
great product it came with a in line fuse
very functional, very ugly! You'll want to cut the fuse and install it next to the battery in case it shorts against the frame. maybe someday someone will design and sell an attractive chrome one.

This is one of the best things made for smokers who ride. Took all of 20 minutes to install. Didn't like bar clamp provided so drilled mount hole larger and installed under my tachometers' mount clamp. Love it, it really works and looks good.

the rubber cap broke off after the first ride also you must buy extra wire they only give ya 6inches and the fuse
The unit is easy to install, its rugged, works well and best of all looks good.
The cigarette lighter I bought was for a GPS unit. It's not hard to install (you'll need to purchase some small speaker type wire..Radio Shack worked) and I installed it directly to the battery (it comes with an in-line fuse already) One thing you might do before you install it is check to see if the plug you'll be putting into it fits all the way in. Mine did not and I had to take a small coping saw and cut off about 3/8 of an inch off the top so the plug would bottom out. Also, it would be nice if someone would make one a little dressier...other then that...nice device!
Excellent product. Works better than expected. Easy to install. Easy to operate.
It's a very good item it looks and works very good on my bike.
The handlebar lighter works great! Easy install. It already comes with the inline fuse so don't buy the one they show with it. It's a lighter and a 12 volt power source!
These lighter kits are of very good quality and a very nice accessory item. I am the proud owner of three kits.
The handlebar cigarette lighter I ordered mounted perfectly, and works great. I use it to plug my GPS into when I'm out geocaching, or just cruising.
I love this lighter. It feels great to be able to have a smoke while cruising. I personally didn't like how it looked on the handlebars. The back stuck way out and didn't compliment my bike. I mounted it on the primary cover and it works out very well. Easy to reach and halfway hidden. Just 1 thing- Before using it I would suggest unscrewing the knob from the filament and using lok-tite on the threads. It unscrewed and the spring went flying and the filament was stuck in the base. Good thing I wasn't moving at the time.
Works like a charm. I use it to power my GPS on my motorcycle so now I don't have to worry about batteries running low. I also plan on using it to recharge the cell phone on long multi- day trips.
I bought this for a friend for his birthday and he has really enjoyed it. It works great, he can even lite a cigarette while still riding. The only thing to be certain of is that you wire it directly to the battery, otherwise it can cause you some electrical issues. And, it looks good on the bike, you don't really notice it.
