The bolts were too soft. They stripped out the first time I went to adjust the position of the pegs. The rest of the unit is ok.

I was concerned that these would not tighten onto my highway bars but I've had no such problem. But be careful about burrs on the threads. The bolt used to tighten the clamp is a low grade steel. One burr will cause the bolt to seize then it won't tighten or come loose. I had to break the bolt with an impact wrench to get it off of my bike. J&P was very good to provide a replacement for me. I recommend replacing the bolt with a hardened one before installation, or clean the threads and
use some anti-seize thread lubricant. I now have them installed and they work fine.
