Installation was a breeze and they have probably 18000 on them. Shifter needs a little WD 40 now and then.

Good value/price. Arrived when due. However, you need a shift lever, (as I did) it is not included. You find this out when you read step 4 of the install directions!

I bought a set of these forward controls from J & P in May of 2000 for my 96 FXD. I had considered getting the stock HD controls but liked the look of the Kuryakyns better. It only took me about an hour to install them with a handful of wrenches & Allen keys. They worked & looked great and still do after 9 years and 130,000 km.(80,000 mi.) I think they're one of the best bike accessory buys I've ever made.

The only thing lacking on my '03 anniversary Lowrider was forward controls. That has since changed since I installed these new cotrols and they are awsome. They are far superior to the ones offered by Harley Davidson. A bit more expensive but well worth it!
