I have used my new helmet for about 2 weeks now. I have been using a Shoei previously so I can only compare the two. The Arai is definitely quieter and overall smaller in size. It's also very lightweight. The visor has a much higher curve to it and it allows me to keep the visor open more often when riding. For my head shape the Shoei fits a bit better but the Arai is still in the break-in period. The graphics are what gets attention. Finally while I can't say for sure i would suspect it's a bit cooler in the hottest summer period because it has much more white then black. Overall you can tell it's a quality helmet. Love it!
