Other than a product number cast into the back, you'd never know this wasn't an OEM Harley part. It definitely seems to be made better. The machining of the splines and the threads that receive the bolt are great. I didn't bother messing around with the slightly cheaper Drag Specialties one because I wanted the good stuff. And I got the good stuff from J&P. It's made in Taiwan and looks identical in every way to the broken one I replaced. Don't forget to order a new shifter peg. Mine didn't want to come out of my old shift lever and it wasn't worth dinking around with anyway, so I'm glad I bought a replacement at the same time.
It was flawless and solid, I am happy with the quality of this shift lever.

It was definately better than the Drag Specialties shift lever. This one went on with ease and was really simple to tighten and feel assured it wasnt loose like the Drag one. Overall good product and products from JP cycle.
