Best price but requires more labor and skill. The gear set went together well and no grinding or relieving need on my 2002 dyna. In 6th gear there is a slight gear noise but nothing alarming or annoying. My only complaint is the bearings look cheap but worked fine. The instructions look like the 100th duplicate copied (all faded) and a good pair of opening snap ring pliers are needed!!! They are a PITA to install without over extending them. I have about 500 miles with no adjustments or complaints. I will revisit this review section if something occurs but very pleased. Any shade tree wrench can do this with basic tools and careful following instructions.

This is not a simple bolt in. Case modification may be needed.I had to relive for a shift fork and the inside area around the output shaft. No big deal but had I known I would have left my old bearing in place for the process and it would have been much easier as getting aluminum filings in the bearing ultimately being replaced would not have mattered. Works very well so far. Finding bigfoot would be easier than finding neutral but after breaking in I think this will improve. I really like the gearset overall. My experience was with installation in a 1981 FLT
