I bought this for my hardtail custom with a 1997 Revtech softail based 5 speed. It took a lot of modification to get it to fit. I don't know if it's just the Revtech tranny being different or its just a poorly designed product. The tranny takes all of the same parts as a Harley, so I don't know. I would advise going a different route if you have a custom built tranny.

WOW!! This is awesome. What a difference. Our 97 Heritage clutch now pulls easier than our 09 Road King.

Great idea. It widens the friction zone on the lever, making slow tight turns easier. It moved the cable too far off center, so the cable wore against the inside of the case causing my cable to stick occasionally. I would use if it didn't require so much modification so make it work perfectly. Posted:

Works great, makes clutch much easier to pull.

fits well and dose make the clutch easier with sore hands

 treenewt Posted:

Loss of cable travel, grinding was required to make it fit. The amount of tension relieved was no where near as good as the 'AMP' gear assist

 SpiralBlue Posted:

Restricted travel of the arm inside the clutch housing on my 2000 Ultra Classic. I did not install after seeing that.

Well worth the money. 50% better than stock!

made a big difference on my shifting lever. A lot easier to shift.

Made a whole lot of difference, Thanks.

This part worked perfectly! Great price too!

Don't kill your hand any longer on the older clutches. This thing works like a dream, was a very easy and quick install. As others have said, you may have to do a tiny amount of grinding to get the clearance on your cable end, so that it will move smoothly, but you'll see it's nothing major. Also, don't forget to order a clutch release cover gasket, as that'll need to be replaced. My wife is MUCH happier now and we all know what that means...

Pretty easy to install. Much better than stock, especially in traffic. Very big difference. Well worth the price.

I had to file the part to get it to fit. Works great now.

WOW! What a difference! Less hand fatigue stop light to stop light.

Outstanding item! It made my 1995 FLHTP clutch MUCH easier to pull. I just rented a 2007 Softail Deluxe on vacation this weekend, and the clutch was very easy to pull, so perhaps the MoCo has made some changes in later models - but I would highly recommend this to anyone who has an older Harley with a hard-to-pull clutch. It took me about an hour or so to install it. The instructions were very clear and I love the way the clutch works now!

The Easyboy Lite Clutch has saved my left hand from certain failure from fatigue. I had to modify it a bit to fit my Evo, but a 40% reduction in effort is believable. A true bargain.

 dyna94 Posted:

Significantly reduced clutch effort as promised. Had the same problem others have mentioned...had to grind down bracket for clearance. Not a big deal.

 camster Posted:

Put it on my wife Heritage and she is very happy. She has small hands so reduced effort is really appreciated in stop and go traffic. Good product.

 pieter Posted:

The easyboy lite clutch is well worth fitting to your bike. Very pleased. J&P, as always, have the product you need at good prices, even when you are around the the other side of the world. Cheaper than the locals. Cheers.

Reduced the clutch effort by 25% and works great. Had to modify the cable attach mechanisim slightly. Well worth the price.

The Easyboy Light Clutch kit was well worth the money. It changes the cluth pressure dramatically. It's like having an '06 ride. Good product.

After installing this product I found that it performs exactly as it should and as advertised. The clutch pull is MUCH lighter and, as I am a mostly week-end rider, my left hand and wrist are not as fatigued as they were. One thing to note is that I was required to grind down a portion of the part so that it wouldn't rub or catch. I used a cordless drill and cutting wheel for the grinding. Great product overall. Would be five stars if modification wasn't required.

 jdcarroll Posted:

It made it so much easier to change gears.

 TiNeff Posted:

I had to do some modification to get the Easyboy Lite Clutch to fit. Specifically, I needed to grind the radius of the piece that bolts onto the ramp. This was necessary because it wanted to "hang-up" on the swedged-on end of the clutch cable, when the clutch lever was pulled. It wasn't a difficult modification, and any competent mechanic with a bench grinder could do it in minutes. I am very pleased with how well the part works, and the manufacturer's claims of significant reduction in pull are very well-founded. I'm looking forward to how much this will reduce hand/forearm fatigue on the 5th and 6th days of a two week ride!
