Was trying choose between this set and the police set for my 77 Harley FLH. . J&P suggested this set unless I drove very hard with frequent shifting up and down. He didn't think the police set would last any longer. One note: Be sure to soak the friction discs at least 24 hours before installing or downshifting will be extremely difficult for first several weeks. I learned the hard way and ended up rotating the clutch every 3-4 hours for three days by rocking my bike forward about 6-12 inches at a time while in 5th gear. The clutch now shifts like a dream, smooth and effortless up and down. Thanks J&P for that after installation fix advice.
