Quality construction. My application was was to use it as a stand-alone stand in the garage, and my garage floor is smooth, finished concrete. Couple this with the tubular construction that makes for a relatively small contact area between the rubber end caps and the floor itself and you have a chock that tends to scoot and skid as you try to "sneak up" on it to cradle the front tire and wheel of your 700 lb. Harley Dyna FXD. Should work quite well if placed on a non-skid floor mat and used for slightly smaller bikes. I returned mine for credit toward a larger Titan chock.
