I love this helmet. My oval-ish head usually gets bad hot-spots on the top of my forhead. Not with this. The helmet's also lighter than my 5 year old H-D half helmet and seals comfortably around my ears. There's noise. .. and I'm on a motorcycle therefor there always will be. No worse than any other lid I've worn. I did pair it up with a SENA com unit, Not the 10 that it's designed for but the less expensive 5. Instalation was easy and unobtrusive. Everything tucks away and I feel nothing. If I was going to deduct a star it would be for BELL's lack of instruction for removing the visor to reconfigure. I know I can find a video on youtube to get it so I'm not going to whine, but unless someone knows to do it, they might end up breaking something. Comfortable. Light. Reasonably priced. Cool style. Versitile.
I like this helmet so much. It fits my head better than any other helmet I've tried. It's light and doesn't make me feel like it's going to twist my head off when I'm looking around. It's stable at speeds unless I have my windshield on and it's getting buffeted by its turbulence. It covers my face well enough for my com system to work with my passenger. I didn't get the Bell/SENA system but rather opted for the FAR less expensive Sena 5. The mount up wasn't as slick as for the compatible unit but it still fits and works really well. If I was to deduct a star for any reason it would be for lack of printed/downloadable instruction on re-configuring the visor and face shield. Bell markets it as a transformable helmet but does nothing to tell you how to do it. I emailed a request to their customer service and was sent pictures of what my lid could look like when I do start re configuring... but no instructions. Bell is too big and recognized a company to make mickey mouse oversights like this... BTW, keeping the visor on has proven a nice protector for the visor when it's flipped up. More than once it's taken a scratch instead of the visor. If you're as clumsy as me it could help.
Very pleased with the helmet. Comfortable, size chart was right on. Good purchase.
I hate helmets. But for adverse weather conditions this one has all that I need. It's even comfortable.
