Easy install and love the drop

looks good, haven't installed yet, waiting for the winter

Very easy to install and adjust. The hardest part for me was taking off the factory shocks, but the re-instal was straight forward and easy. My 2007 Softail is slammed low and looks great

 SonnyB59 Posted:

The kit arrived earlier than expected and went into the bike without any issues. I'm very pleased with the results!!!

Straight forward install. Easy to adjust. Make sure you have the tool to adjust shock preload or you're going to bottom out on bumps.

Installed on my Deuce. Easy install and adjust. Bike looks very good with the lowered look. A very good purchase for me and the technical help from your staff prior to my purchase and install was great. JP Cycles is a great place to get your parts and to do business with. I'm a happy customer. Thanks J P, Dennis

love the results. easy to install.

Awesome kit. It took less than an hour once I got all the stock bolts broke loose. Height adjustments are way easy.

 cjack Posted:

Great Kit, About 2 hours installed by myself. Did have to cut a 15/16 end wrench in half. Used box end for outer nut and open end for inner nut. Left about 1/2 inch end thread showing and that lowered my bike to a point where the lower fender edge is about even with upper edge of rim. Just what I wanted and very easy to install. Great product.

Great product, fast delivery! Thanks!!!

Great item. Easy to install and adjust.

This was an extremely easy kit to install. I've adjusted (tweaked) my ride height several times since I installed the kit, it's quick and easy.

 usgrant Posted:

This was an easy and inexpensive way to lower the soft tail. The job becomes even easier with the help of some type of lift for the bike, that make sit much simpler to get to the bolt and remove the weight of the bike from the shock, also gives clearance to remove the shocks. once installed with the lowering kit on the shocks, its a snap to adjust the ride to your desired height. Im real pleased with the ease of installation and the quality of the product

Had friend help install. Could not have done it by myself, need two sets of hands. Very good kit. Really made a difference. Recommend to anyone who wants to lower their bike and not break the bank.

 jhendry Posted:

Lowering Kit worked just as I hoped. The instructions were somewhat lacking, but I was able to complete the job by myself in about 2 1/2 hours. I did have to buy a 15/16" combination wrench and cut it in half to adjust the lowering nuts.

nice product and great customer support

Got the kit in record time. Took about 2 hours to install. Shocks went in easy. The hardest part was getting the rear shock mount bolt loose. the bike looks great.

Good product, easy installation. Stiffened the ride a bit, but it was expected. Love the ability to ajdust ride height.

 manny500 Posted:

07 FXSTC.. A little tight going back in with the shocks .Over all I'd say the kit works ok.

 ibmycee Posted:

Slammed my ride just like I wanted. thanks jpcycle ;D

I am happy with the end product, however the instructions were lacking greatly. If you buy these use red lock tite and don't lower to the extreme bottom as your belt will rub your primary case. Install time was about 3.5 hrs

 kINGCONG2 Posted:

EASY TO INSTALL COMPAIRED TO THE OTHERS.WILL LOWER THE BIKE 2.25 " MORE THAN THE OTHERS

 kwapiti Posted:

They were fairly simple to install, even though they were a fairly tight fit to put back in.

 kramsoftail Posted:

A friend &I installed the kit in about 2 hours. With the kit installed on the shocks,it makes them a little longer. It takes a little prying to get them back into their position. Once back in, just adjust to your preferred height. I like them.

 MDC01101953 Posted:

THE LOWERING WAS A VERY SIMPLE INSTALL .MUCH EASIER THAN THE OEM KIT.THE INSTRUCTIONS COULD HAVE BEEN A LITTLE MORE DETAILED ,MAYBE SOME PHOTOS. THE KIT HAS A GOOD RANGE OF ADJUSTMENT AND IS SIMPLE TO ADJUST . I'LL SEE HOW IT RIDES WHEN IT WARMS UP A LITTLE. PS FAST SERVICE FORM THE GUY'S AT JP

Great Product! As others have written, it is very easy to install and well made. It took me about an hour to install on my 2006 Night Train.

 gdlongo39 Posted:

As a retired machinist, I found the lowering kit extremely well made and very easy to install. The product is worthy of high praise and even a novice should be unafraid to attempt this installation. The only additional advise that I can give is to have an additional jack or lever under the rear tire so you can move it up or down a bit to facilitate easier installation of the completed assembly. Good luck and good biking.

 cowboytalk Posted:

Works great. A lot better to use this kit, cause the shocks don't have to be taken apart to install.

 chieffatboy Posted:

These worked great on my Fat Boy. Easy to install and adjust. The ride is a little less forgiving on big bumps - which is to be expected, but I love these things. They gave it the look I was looking for.

 Jrharmon Posted:

Great!! Easy to install, really lowers the back end!! Would recommend!

 macandjuju Posted:

I found this product to be very user friendly, and easy to install for one person.

 Joe1 Posted:

Awesome and easy!

 lasoftrider Posted:

The lowering kit was real easy to install, and I am not a mechanic. Sure made my softail look a lot better.I am happy with the kit and the price was pretty good. Thank you.

 tatumferguson Posted:

At first I thought it would not fit past the lower frame cross-member, but with the rubber bushing compressed and some wiggling it popped right in. Very simple install compared to most softail lowering kits that require taking the shocks apart. Easily adjustable after installed as well. Overall very satisfied.
