Very responsive suspension. Easy to adjust. From the factory setting of 1 inch lower than stock you can figure 4/16 of an inch equals 1 inch in adjustment. If you can't afford an adjustable compressor air ride suspension that usually cost 1700-2100$ this is a great compromise. You will need a lift to install this one and you will also need the K&L Multi-Lift Motorcycle Lift Ramp(910-201). That part is a must to get the lift from underneath the bike once it is lowered. I originally lowered the bike 4 much and it is highly not recommended, 2 3/4 inches is perfect for the softail to still have a good ride quality and have a lowered look and stillmaintain safe ground clearence.
