For the price, they weren't worth the lack of convenience. The hard plastic knobs hit the gas tank and without having to mention how that isn't pleasant, they don't allow a large enough opening for those of us with large hands. They should make the knobs from a hardened rubber and allow the latch to open in either an opposite direction side to side or top to bottom.
