Description

Performance Machine Lugged 12″ Handlebars

• Performance Machine's design & engineering team set out to create the best handlebars on the market

• The criteria was relatively simple, they have to be strong, clean, and innovative

• Using CNC tube bending, laser cutting, and welding technology the team was able to create the Lugged handlebar line

• The real beauty in the Lugged handlebars is artistically sculpted cut that blends the 1-1/4" tubing smoothly into the upper 1.0" tubing

• Using an innovative double wall manufacturing technique, the Performance Machine Lugged handlebars put strength where it needs to be while keeping weight to a minimum and style to a maximum

• Staying true to Performance Machine's history the Lugged bars were tested in PM's notoriously challenging/destructive test lab insuring these are truly the best handlebars on the market

Handlebars Measuring Guide

To identify your handlebar needs, we recommend measuring your current handlebar's dimensions as a baseline.

To most closely match the measuring system used on our site, we recommend the following method:

Push a table against a wall. Prop up the handlebars in the corner where the table meets the wall, then rotate the bars forward until the front of the bars touch the wall. In this case, rise is the distance from the table to the highest point on the bars, with pullback measured from the wall to the farthest point back.

Diagram of Handlebar Measurements
Diagram of Handlebar Measurements
Width: Measure between the two outside points of the handlebars.
Center Width: Measure between the two inside points of the handlebars.
Rise: Measure from the base of the handlebars to their highest point.
Pullback: Measure from the front of the bars to the furthest point back.

Additional Considerations:

  • Handlebars for Springer Softails are different than bars for other bikes. Learn More
  • We offer bars in two groupings by year of fitment — pre–1982 and later models. The differences are the result of a change of configuration in the switch housings. Learn More
