I had to fit the bottom of the Indian head by grinding with my dremel tool. The distance from the top of the head to the bottom of the head was too long. I could not fit the chrome cover to screw it properly to the the bottom piece to match the fender radius. Good thing I am a machinist. It does fit now and looks awesome.

Very well made apart from the rather flimsy front bolt. This is hollow to accept the front screw, which holds the crome cover on the baseplate. I used some stainless steel nylock nuts to avoid rust, but when I tried to undo the front one, it pulled out the bolt and some of the threaded tube came away. This was partly my fault as I did not use the supplied nuts. It was easy to wire up as I already had a hole in the side of the mudguard but had to drill three more, on the top, to mount the baseplate and allow the wire to pass through. The curve of the cover did not quite match the Harley FLSTC mudguard (fender) so I had to put an extra gasket under the top cover. I made this out of a rubber mouse-mat that I had lying around. It looks very good, especially lit up, and the chrome looks like it will last a long time. I recommend this product.
