I guess you could call it the best tank coating. It was the only one I could find. This is the third tank I've used it on and I've never had a problem with it. It takes a little time and patience but it's worth the effort.

I was upset that for a new tank you have to buy additional chemicals, even if you have bought the tank prep kit. Then to make matters worse, even though I bought the new tanks and the kreem liner at the same time, the liner did not arrive til the one month warranty on the tanks was almost over!(3 1/2 weeks later!!) because the Kreem has to be shipped by ground (something I was not told when I ordered the product) and since I live in Hawaii, it took a long time, thus I lost whatever warranty I had on the tanks. I would not order this product again!

I have used this product before and it is the way to go when using a new tank or refurbishing an old one. Quality product. Easy to use and effective. Can't say enough good things about it.

This product has done an amazing job on the gas tanks on the 1974 shovelhead that I am in the process of restoring right now. I thought there was no hope for the tanks considering there condition and now they are just like new.

I wouldn't recommend it for used tanks. RED-COTE is better!!!

the only thing that was missing here were in the instructions for use and my intent to PPOWDER-COAT my NEW tank.....luckily i called the fine folk's at "kreem" and they were able to tell me NOT to use this product BEFORE powder coating my tank, as IT IS HEAT SENSITIVE! and to also use EXTREEM CAUTION when with step one after the power coating was complete because acids involved in step one could potentially ruin a new paint job if it were spilled on the new paint. both of which are not issues if you not powder-coating, but BIG issues if you are and are not included in the instructions for use.

This is a great product. If you follow the directions as they are written it works great. If you plan on working on an already custom painted gas tank be sure to order the Tank Mask as well, the tank mask works very well and will protect your paint from the acid solution and the acetone in the kit.

Good stuff, but the kit is really not designed for split tanks. No problem. I only did one set. Would have liked to know about safe disposal. I don't remember seing it, anywhere. Could just be me.
