The bodywork problem the others spoke about is an issue. But the biggest problem is I received the tank put it all together and Im missing a plate under the sending unit so fuel is getting into the wiring tube and running out on the engine. Been waiting for two weeks for a Tech to call me back. Awesome!
The style and overall shape of the tank is great, but for the price the workmanship is terrible. The extension isn't lined up very well and the weld is rough. LOTS of bodywork is needed.
Have tank inspected prior to being shipped. When I recieved tank it was incorrect, meaning it was #720-746...two fill holes instead of one filler and one fuel gauge bung. Also, tank extention weld point (of the #720-746) is of poor quality, needing major bodywork. When I recieve the proper tank, I hope the weld is better.
Awesome tank. Really made my ride look cool.
