Does not turn off in any position.Expected more from arlen ness.

Looks Nice, Has pretty positive feedback in each position. Did not work however. I read the reviews and people commented about, because of the possibility of leaks, not flipping the lever before installing and while dry so I was careful not to. The thing would not shut the fuel flow off in any position though. I didn't like that, but on about the 5th day my bike was standing in a puddle of gasoline and the carburetor was still POURING gasoline out from it's drain tube. The petcock was already in the off position and no amount playing with it would make it shut off. This was my second try at a manual petcock in a month, should've tried the Pingle or Golan. Fed up with the effort, I just went to the HD dealership and bought the valve body alone for $38 and now It is running like it is supposed to again.

Great Value, looks great and easy to install.. Great having more options than just the Pingle Valve everyone has for $100...Ness valve is just as good at $32

nice piece. easy install. looks awesome!

Like the style of this and I'm sure that it's made a difference keeping the carb bowl full even at high end speed, but it does have a major flaw and it caught me out badly, and that's the reserve - only had enough for about 10 miles where as the old original one gave me about 40 miles, as there is room inside the filter for a longer pipe I altered the pipe length as much as I could - result - I now have about 40 miles reserve again!

looks good on my 77 shovel fat bob tanks. it interferes with new style horn upgrade though. it was easier to move my horn forward and leave the pitcock be. you can play around with the horn with different brackets much easier than moving a hole in the bottom of your tank!!

Fits perfect and good function !

Easy Brackets are easy to install and a quick way to add and remove bags as needed, plus leave little hardware behind when bags are off.
