Customer Reviews

I purchased this tank because J&P said it would fit my 1980 FXEF. Yes, the mounting holes line up, but the fuel crossovers at the bottom point the fuel line directly into the downtubes on the frame. This was a costly mistake because I'd already done the lining and had them painted.

Excellent tank, looks and sits on mounts as well as original... haven't mounted permanent yet, as I just finished the 3 part sealing system from J & P Cycles, as I have to get the tank, new fender from J & P and also my original rear fender repainted. May as well do it rite and all at the same time.. Tank is fantastic as far as I can tell.. Let ya' know how well She performs when I gas Her up..

Important Product Notes

Must Use Tank Sealer (#720-469 or 900-715) For Warranty To Be Valid On All Gas Tanks. WARNING: Most tanks are shipped unpainted. Caps are not included unless noted. All gas tanks should be fitted, pressure-tested and sealed BEFORE being painted to eliminate potential problems.
