Customer Reviews

Had problems with through tank shutoff. First top hole wasn't large enough for shutoff rod, had to ream out to fit. Then even though they claim the shutoff holes are 'aligned' in the description, it still needs to be tweaked to get the shutoff to work properly. Of course the alignment tool is almost as much as the tank. So make sure you test fit everything before sealing and then painting your tank

welds leaked.would be good to pressure test before prep

As usual J & P Cycles delivers a solid product in a timely manner. Can't wait to get into assembly of my 56 Servi.

Important Product Notes

Must Use Tank Sealer (#720-469 or 900-715) For Warranty To Be Valid On All Gas Tanks. WARNING: Most tanks are shipped unpainted. Caps are not included unless noted. All gas tanks should be fitted, pressure-tested and sealed BEFORE being painted to eliminate potential problems.
