Leaking oil badly through its temp probe or stem. I had to put back my old HD to arrest the oil spillage. Please remove this part from JP Cycles, it is not up to standard. In general JP Cycles is always offering the best. To arrest the leak, you need to seal its stem with rubber hose end cup but the temp gauge won't read perfectly.
after 4 rides just stopped working I would not waste my money on this temp gauge.
Looks great, very comforting to know the Temp. off the engine while cruzin but the oil gauge keeps getting depressed while I am riding and oils comes out.
leaks oil at speeds over 70mph. Had one these from you before and it did not leak like this one I just got something on clear lens and clouded it up so could not see temp. looked at o-ring but can't tell why its leaking so bad
Can't seem to align the gauge correctly to follow the line of the oil tank; it sits almost 90 degrees when locked in place. So I don't use it and stayed with the stock oil cap.
Temp gauge worked great, but the cap itself leaked. So I would not recommend
Living in the South, heat is always a concern as I sometimes am caught in traffic. Temps here have already hit 85 degrees and the new temp gauge I purchased for my Sportster is perfect. Easy to read gauge face lets me read it at a glance. It was shipped very quickly, I ordered it on a Monday and Thursday afternoon it was sitting on my doorstep. Thanks J&P for quick service and for accurate descriptions of your products, it makes purchasing easy, I have never had to return any purchase in 2 years of buying from you.
This fits and works great in my 2007 Sportster. I was surprised to see how low the oil temps were in November!
Works great - easy install.
