What's the right height windshield for me?
When seated in your normal riding position, the top of the windshield should be level with the tip of your nose. When you ride in the rain, you will still have an unobstructed view of the road, and the windhshield will still be tall enouguh to deflect air over and around your head.
Fit my 07 Sportster just right. Mounting hardware was easy to install. JP is the best and the shipping is outstanding. I can't believe how fast it arrived.
Very well made, thick Lexan with bright hardware.
Fitment was good and quality was excellent. Be careful to order the correct installation kit because once opened, it can't be returned.
looks great, installed with relative ease
Nice and thick. Good fit on my FXRS-CON
Easy install. Fits perfectly on 2003 883 Sportster.
Perfect size and shape to fit my 86 FRXS.
Memphsis Slim 17" Windshield I brought the clear and amazingly you can barely tell that its there. It blends right in and enhances the look of the bike. I thought that I'd be able to look over it but that's not the case. I'm 5'5" and ride a Honda Shadow VLX 600 that has a very low seat. The product is very well made. I had a mechanic put it on along with other accessories and he had no hassels. Great for summer and smaller riders. For winter or larger riders you might consider the Memphsis Fats model. You might find it for a couple of dollars less somewhere else on-line but J&P will be the one to have it in stock and ship it the fastest.
A good product. Directions should point out that some force may be needed to insert the windshield into the brackets on the bike. It was like the plexi-glass had "flattened out" during shipment. I had made 2 failed attempts to mount it. I thought that I #$%?ed up when I ordered it and got the wrong windshield or mounting kit. Finally, I had to physically "bow" the windshield several degrees to make it align with the mounting hardware. Once I did this it slipped right on.
This is a good windshield, as high a quality and as good-looking as the Harley-Davidson product. Some installation instructions for the mounting hardware would have been helpful, but with a little trial and error, it all went together well.
Very nice windshield and very easy to install. The clear is a classic look and for a bike and worked will on my Suzuki S40. I'd recommend this product to others.
