I've mostly had Bell Revolvers for the last several years and have a Gmax GM54s as a backup. I wasn't sure what to expect with this, but am actually pleasantly surprised. It looks a lot smaller than other modular helmets (slimmer profile), but feels roomy once you have it on. I wear glasses, and they fit right in, no problem - even with the inner shield down. The inner shield is also darker than the ones that come with the Revolver helmets. It actually blocks sunlight, but it's not too dark. The build feels solid, and the chin strap closure is smooth. It opens and closes pretty seamlessly and doesn't feel flimsy at all. This thing also has excellent airflow. I haven't closed up the chin vents with the included inserts yet, but they snap in properly. The flow is so good, I can leave the shield down, and I get zero fog, whereas this was not the case with my Revolvers. I had to crack the shield open a notch even with all the vents open, or I'd get a bit of fog even on cooler summer mornings. Mine came with the fog fighter insert as well - it's the same thing as the Pinlock insert, but it's their own proprietary tech. It also came with some reflective decals which I don't think I'll be using, but they are dark colored so they wouldn't be too obvious on a matte black helmet. Nice touch. It even has a really nice carry sack, although I never use those either. It is a bit noisy, but so was are the Revolvers. It's comfier than the Revolvers, and just seems smaller. No more bobblehead! Oh, and it feels like it's half the weight of the Revolver too. Once it's on, it's easy to forget that you have a helmet on. It even seems to have better peripheral vision ability than the Revo. It's a really neat little helmet, especially for a modular. Looking at it, you'd never know that it even is a modular. It's got a great sporty look to it. Sort of like the newer sports helmets that are out now. Not a "swept back" look, but angular. I was prepared to return it, but wanted to check it out as friends in Europe swear by it for city riding. I can see why. I'm keeping this as my daily and the revolver as a backup. The Gmax will just have to decorate the shed for the forseeable future. Maybe I'll turn it into "shed art" with the blinking light. In all, I'm pleasantly surprised with this helmet, and will now consider looking twice at LS2 helmets in general.
