Very good quality, would recommend to others. One small problem was that the seat mounting holes had to be enlarged/widened so the Corbin-Gentry solo seat replica would fit. Don't know if it was the seat or the T bracket that was off, but it was not a big deal ...easy to fix.

I ordered the standard seat post/tee assembly which is supposed to be good up to 220 lbs. After mounting everything, the seat post was bottoming out (I weigh 195). When I disassembled the post, I found that ALL the springs were shorter than OEM specs, some by as much as 1-1/2 inches. I also had to file out the seat tee holes to match up to the seat pan (all these items are from V-Twin, including the seat which I had previously purchased thru J&P). I contacted J&P Cycles, who offered to send me a set of heavy duty springs at no cost to me. I received them via overnight courier. I am impressed with J&P stepping up to the plate and covering what they sell. However, V-Twin needs to get their act together and check OEM specs before they slap something together.

Note: Post assembly rated at 200 lbs., 200+ lbs. should consider Heavy Duty Springs 820-157 Seats, once mounted, cannot be returned. Returned seats must be in like-new condition with no evidence of wear or mount marks. Be careful to check fitment before mounting your new seat. When checking fitment of seat, place a cloth under seat, do not bolt down seat. Carefully set seat on bike and check fitment. Returned seats showing any signs of wear or mount marks cannot be accepted. Please be careful when checking fitment.
