great seat, does make you sit up about 1.5 inches higher which takes getting use to. Seat is a little firmer that I expected but it is very comfortable. I would recommend this seat as a very good upgrade from OEM. Also great job to J&P, ordered on Tuesday delivered Friday even to Canada-Thanks!
If you are looking for a long distance seat, this is it! On the stock seat, butt was hurting after only 200 miles. Have done over 600 miles in one shot with this one, and felt great! Easy install, looks great, holds up well. Over 6000 miles with it and looks new. You do have to get use to the additional height though. But it was better for my legs.
This is comfortable. Hesitated on the purchase because of the price, but for long distance rides, it really made a difference. Soft, but yet firm. Better late than never.
Comfort! Comfort! Comfort! So much better than the stock OEM seat Harley puts on my 2009 Electra Glide. Now I can put some miles on and ride in comfort. No regrets !!!

We received this seat and put it on our bike just in time to do our first (and only) Iron Butt ride. The seat is absolutely beautiful, but I have to say that I think it is awfully hard. It looks awesome on the bike and maybe after it gets broke in some more it won't be so hard but for the money, I think it is a bit uncomfortable. We have ridden several short trips since the Iron Butt and it still seems uncomfortable even for short distances, I almost think the stock seat was better.
This is not a review, but an important note to Texas (and other states) riders: Your stock grab strap will not work with this seat and Mustang/J&P do not offer a strap that will work. It's a class B misd offense in Texas to operate a MC with a passenger unless you have "foot pegs and handholds" for your passenger. The law doesn't define "handholds," but LE officers say they are looking for grab straps or other equipment designed to serve as a handhold for the passenger. Just FYI
Very, Very nice seat for touring. Wife likes the comfort and size. I think it was a good seat for my CVO Street Glide!!
